The Great Commandment: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
The Great Commission: “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
With the Great Commandment and the Great Commission as the basis for our new parish, All Saints Community Church has a five-fold ministry strategy. First, is to reach those outside of our parish by a series of servant evangelism strategies. Second, is to strengthen the dedication of those who attend regularly by encouraging commitment to church membership. Third, is to disciple church members into maturity through obedience to Christ. Fourth, is to train leaders into ministry. Finally, is to send our leaders into the mission fields, both at home and abroad, in order to create more disciples. The Great Commandment and the Great Commission makes for a Great Church.

There is a very healthy diversity in Immanuel, ranging from poor to rich and young to old, and we believe that we all have something to offer within the community. Our hope is that in worshipping God and allowing Him to guide us, that we might reflect the words of one of the Old Testament prophets: that we 'may do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God'. We value a real honesty and authenticity in our community and our worship, as we seek to follow Jesus. Our motto is 'Real God, Real People, Real Lives'.
We have many community activities during the week, and you can find details about those on our website (http://www.immanuelchurch.ca/). Sundays are relatively modern and informal, with a fun Kids Church happening at the same time.
Please feel free to visit us any time, or to contact Pastor Simon for more information.

These teens are the exact focus of The Free Life Project, an outreach of Immanuel Church to the downtown east side of Vancouver, British Columbia. Watch the Video to hear the Rev. St. Timothy’s church, formed in June 2004, with a vision to be a nurturing, biblically-based community serving to grow Christ’s Kingdom.
Going into the North Shore Community
We believe God loves all that he has created and that he gives unsurpassed worth to all those he has made. The North Shore, like every community, is full of people in physical, emotional or spiritual need, people looking for healing and hope.
Gathering all ages into Christian Fellowship
The ‘un-churched’ and the ‘de-churched’ are among the fastest growing segments of our society. We know there are many in our community who believe the church to be irrelevant, want nothing to do with the church or have experienced hurt from the church. We hope to change this perception, by being a church which demonstrates the love and the goodness of Jesus to all.
Glorifying God in Worship
Our approach to worship is rooted in the historic traditions of the first century church, yet remains coloured with contemporary and fresh expressions, connecting with people’s hearts and minds.
Growing to become more like Jesus
We are, committed to equipping and releasing all people at St. Timothy’s to use their gifts and talents to glorify God, to build up the Body of Christ and to love and care for those around us. Becoming followers of Jesus (disciples) does not happen by accident. It requires regular and intentional interaction with Jesus and fellow believers. To this end we encourage and provide opportunity for times of personal and corporate prayer, scripture study, learning and spiritual formation. We challenge everyone to "Daily Consider Jesus".
Giving of our time, talent & treasure to serve others
At St. Timothy’s we believe we have been called to do what Jesus did: seek the lost, help the vulnerable, care for the at risk, love the lonely, provide for the needy and seek justice for the marginalized who live all around us and are a part of God’s wonderful world.

Mountain Valley Mission is an emerging work centred in the Squamish/Whistler/Pemberton corridor. Pastor Barclay & Mary Mayo moved into the community just before Christmas 2009 and have begun to build relationships with the community, government, social agencies and other Christian churches. They are developing a Food Coop and other outreach that will be dedicated to ministry to the working poor and young families of Squamish.
Our Mission is to Connect people to the healing and forgiveness of Jesus, Teach them to love each other as they have been loved & to accept God’s plan for their lives, then Send them to show Christ’s love to the community around them. (Matthew 22:37)
Our Vision is to plant a vibrant, missional & socially responsive Anglican community of 100-150 souls in Squamish within the next three years & to begin work on development of a second altar in Whistler and a third in Pemberton. (Matthew 28:19-20)
Our Strategies for Ministry include a commitment to:
- Accessible and spiritually fulfilling worship that introduces people to Jesus
- Purposeful discipleship through small group fellowship
- Outreach and service to those in the community who have the greatest need.
- Dedicated ministry to youth, young adults and families
- Recruit & train godly Christians to lead the church.
- Intentional partnerships with other faithful Christian communities
